Seafood:
- 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 150g crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 150g scallops, cleaned
For the Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 cups milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried basil or Italian seasoning
Others:
- 9-12 lasagna noodles (pre-cooked or no-boil)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella for topping
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
🍳 Instructions
Cook Seafood:
In a skillet, sauté shrimp and scallops in a bit of butter until just cooked (2-3 minutes). Remove from heat and gently mix in crab meat. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in flour to form a roux and cook for 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and cream, cooking until sauce thickens. Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and herbs until smooth.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread a thin layer of cheese sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Layer noodles, half the seafood mixture, and cheese sauce. Repeat layers ending with noodles and top with remaining cheese sauce and shredded mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
