This dish takes everything you love about a Philly cheese steak — tender beef, peppers, onions, and gooey cheese — and turns it into a creamy, comforting pasta bake. It’s rich, filling, and guaranteed to be a hit at the dinner table.
📝 Ingredients:
- 12 oz (340g) penne or rotini pasta
- 1 lb (450g) thin-sliced beef (ribeye, sirloin, or shaved steak)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: red chili flakes for heat
👨🍳 Instructions:
- Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté beef in olive oil until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook peppers, onion, and garlic until soft.
- Add beef back in. Stir in broth and cream. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in cream cheese and shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Toss in cooked pasta. Mix well and heat through.
- Serve hot — cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor!
